AHPT 603 - Psychosocial Aspects of Physical Therapy

Impact of chronic illness and disability on individuals, families, and society. Discussion regarding relationships between the attitudes and values of society, persons with disabilities and their families, and health care professionals on implementation of and outcomes of physical therapy interventions. Strategies for delivering care with cultural humility are discussed.
